This is a hands-on position.  This is NOT a remote position.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Production Supervisor, Electronics, for our Operations Department. The successful candidate will have advanced electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience and will be proficient in soldering, mechanical assembly, and epoxy potting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all manufacturing and production operations for a specific work area while providing leadership, direction, and training. All work perform must comply with ISO 9001/ISO 13485 standards.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor and maintain production efficiency, identifying and implementing improvements to increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, and open communication among team members.
  • Train and mentor production team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve any production-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform production assembly, testing, and inspection.
  • Understand and perform board level programming and testing as needed.
  • Maintain material inventory with proper paperwork and electronic records per established ISO procedures.
  • Perform kitting of production projects.
  • Work with Purchasing and Quality Assurance groups to ensure timely and quality work product.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years’ experience in related medical device manufacturing operations. Associate degree is a plus.
  • Experience with printed circuit board assembly and testing, electrical harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components are a plus.
  • Understanding of inventory control in an electronics production environment.
  • Must be capable of following assembly procedures and drawings to perform mechanical system integration, as well as follow test procedures to perform functional testing.
  • Ability to commit and work under deadlines.
  • Must have a cooperative attitude.
  • Must be a self-starter w/excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional development.

SALARY RANGE:
  • Hourly: $26 - $36
Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
